to move back or not

Postby Trueloveinthenight » Tue Jul 27, 2010 7:44 pm

well im going through my divorce and im 7 months in , still not all the way done and better but alot better than when i first left.the thing is ive been living in texas with my dad for the past 7 months and while i love my dad, stepmom and brother i really miss my social circle of my mom, bff denise and briana back in louisiana. But to live there again would mean living in the same area as my ex and possibly risking accidentally running into him here and there.I have a job here and 2 divorce support groups im going to here in texas along with therapy so for now i know i should stay but i dont know i could really use some ideas and advice. It really helps me to hear from people so thank you in advance.

Take your time... spend a few more months with family where you are and then when you feel stronger you can think about moving. That's my opinion, anyway :)

Of course... in everything like this, pray.

I will echo that- once you pray about it you will probably get the indication one way or the other. If you are not overwhelmingly feeling that God is telling you to move back, then you are probably right where you need to be right now. These things take time.
(Trust me,I feel you. I have been praying to get out of a job I despise for YEARS and although it is not what I wanted to hear, I have figured out that this must be where God wants me to be. DO NOT WANT! LOL)
