I need help from some of the guys...

Okay so in my Design and Art theory class we have to come up with a concept of a company (name, tagline, logo, advertisement) based on a topic we drew....

My topic was a Men's clothing line..
(deffently feel like I lucked out there..could of been sports and I would have died on the spot)

so anyways due to the vaugeness of the topic what brings it into this forum is I thought I might do a gothic one...just....because...

now I have two main ideas specificaly in it that I was thinking about to try and narrow things down....and would just like your oppion on it...

A) something for Goths working in buisness type settings and need to look profesional (I think I remeber that topic coming up here a few times)

or

B) Adding more color to Gothic clothing...kind of for 2 reasons..1 while I was looking at stuff all guy clothing was mostly black and while I know thats a staple can't help but wonder why theres not more deep red and purple at least *not sure of all "acceptible" colors...
2 while my bro. would never consider himself goth I know he had fun freaking people out when he stayed more or less in style but added a lot of white...so thoughts?

any color is acceptiable. its how you wear it. i A gothic guy that wears bright pink... but the accesories he uses plus the eyeliner gives it more of a darker erie look.

play around. i would stay with dark/bold colors if your going that way.

I decided to call it Mitternact (midnight) where light and dark clash...

I wish I had a scanner so I could show some of the stuff that I'm thinking about logo wise TT__T

any other adivce would deffently be welcomed...
or maybe pics of yourselves where you've added a bit more color if you don't mind me using them...
cause right now I think the ads and stuff with my lack of ablity to get any photos is going to be the hardest thing..

Tho we use those to _avoid_ wearing ties, while still being "dressed up fancy." (unfortunately, I outgrew my last one several years ago )

okay well I have most of my idea's down all night will be production...

okay so I know its been awhile since I brought this topic up...

but...
while what I had last time wasn't quite what I wanted...
my teacher this month is having me take that project...and in theory make it portfolio worthy...

now I've expanded it to include girls as well (which is good since all I have is girl modles atm)

heres my current poblem right now I'm just doing ads...
my teacher wants me to do it in away that wouls "reflect the experince or life style"
since I've pretty much always lived in my own little world...
this makes me pretty helpless know matter what I go for...

so I guess the new question is...can some one explain what that would be for goths..
or point me towards ads in what not that can help me research it...

I'm really far behind and this is due Wendsday

(also if you can pray for me...this assignment is requireing me to ask people I normaly don't talk to for help and I think I'm allready mentaly freaking out over having to actualy explain to people what i need)

Dark writing is a big part of being a goth. Poe, Lovecraft, horror in general. Dark poetry. etc.. For a still shot maybe have someone reading out of a big black book with either the name Edgar All Poe, or perhaps a picture of him on said book. For Video have someone reading "The Raven" out of said book. Just a couple of ideas is this kind of what you're looking for?
