I'm of mixed feelings about this. I'm a big fan of the original, and was excited to hear about a sequel. But the quality of CGI has improved to the point that the scenes in the computer look almost too realistic and "clean". Pretty hard to judge a movie by a few seconds, and I'll still definitely see it.

Uhm, sorry, my bad, what I mean is, the trailer looks really interesting and is probably the first trailer I've seen that I actually really want to see for a movie due out this year. KA being one where I want to see it but my chances of seeing it actually is kinda eh. That trailer though......woah....

I saw an extended race scene for this about 6 months ago. I am like Swordsman, kinda got a mixed bag of feelings about it. Loved the original as a kid. The sequel looks amazing but doesn't have the feel of the original. I will see it but I am not chomping at the bit in anticipation.

There will always be a debate on sequels and remakes. But the fact that they can do the CGI to near reality can show just how far we have come in 20 years.

I think the original Tron's effects were dated by the time it got into theaters... This one looks like it was done with the modern Macs in mind, all sleek and shiny. XD

And yes, I'm totally looking forward to it.
